Hi All,
Just thought we should think back over the last few weeks, a great time for getting out in your van, what great new memories have you got?
To start the ball rolling:
27 mile bike ride both ways along the Wirral Way with wife, daughter (17) and son (11).
Barbecued a rump steak (for me) but the rest of the family devoured it once I sliced it thin.
Couple of pints of Hobgoblin in pub in Chester city centre (if you've not been its a great place).
Walked up Wansfell Pike on beautiful day with wife, son, dad (78) and mum (76).
Sat in bed in caravan Easter Sunday morning eating Easter Egg with kids.
I've got a few more, what about you?

Hello

Just one or two of many happy times over the fantastic bank holidays:-

Watching my 9 month old dog playing on the beach and going for a swim in the lake for the first time.
The views from the top of cwmcarn forest drive in Wales.
First family BBQ of the season.
Trying out our new awning.
Spending time with family aged 13 - 83 and watching everyone getting along and enjoying a laugh together.
Turning the alarm clock to the 'off' position.

Had a lovely lazy week just before Easter at Wareham Forest Touring, Wareham Dorset.  Went to Sandbanks beach a couple of times and Swanage beach once. Visited the ruined 2nd WW village of Tyneham and Lulworth Castle.  Enjoyed visit to Portland Bill and visited Portland Castle.  Cooked breakfast on the Cadac every morning and BBQ most evenings.

May Day BH weekend just up the road at Conkers with friends.  Much (to much) alcohol consumed.  Two 'comunal BBQ's' with our friends and a meal out at the Cricketts at Acresford on the Sunday night before returning on Monday.  Very lazy.

Having a very rare child free 3 nights with the o/h in the peak district while sproglet was away with the school. We were the only van on a little CS with great weather and beautiful views and long walks.
Bliss.....

Then having an o/h free 2 nights with sproglet at thornborough henge, poking campfires and listening to bongo drums till stupid o'clock in the morning.
Also bliss....

Leccyshep we also had a CS to ourselves over Easter. When there's all the stress of booking CC sites for most weekends, CSs and CLs make so much sense. Fantastic memory of waking in the morning, havng a brew looking out the window, followed by bacon buns off the bbq. Heaven. Dan
