The flying saucer is like all aerials quite suitable for a digital signal, in fact it has at last started to have a use. I have had my van for 8 years now and as far as I was concerned the Staus was a much use as a chocolate fireguard, it only ever produced the most grainy pictures. However, it has now come into it's own with the changeover to digial as I discovered over easter. I forgot to check with Wolfbane as to where to point my aerial from New England bay CC site ( I have checked since and only on the very extremes of reception is a signal possible from one of three different transmitters. So I took a chance and trie to set the TV up with the Status and low and behold I got just a few usable channels, though they were prone to breaking up, but having got the TV tuned in it was out with the bigger external aerial, plug into the TV, set the display up to show a channel that was tuned in on the channel list ( that also shows signal strength and Quality ) and then by rotating the aerial I could find the place which gave the strongest signal. Having done this I went inside scanned for progams again and got a full set of really excellent pictures. I shall never slate the staus again.
The Status works fine as an FM aerial and has a socket that is labelled for this purpose on the power supply box.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
