the other month I "ID" marked my van roof with sticky letters made up for £40 easy to remove if required when sold and this weekend both going and returning it worked.
roof is marked with 6" letters saying "POLICE please check tow car details" and my reg number also.
children noticed the helecopter to the side of us, and then it was in front checking myself, or so I would like to think. as they held the position for a few seconds before leaving.
90% of vans nicked are done by being viewed from the ground and so letters cant be seen without going high.
