We pick up our new van and whilst we both lay on the fixed bed before deciding to buy the van I dont know the length or width. Lidl have some microfibre fitted sheets in from Monday and I was hoping someone may know the bed size (or measure theirs for me ).

We had a series 5 Bordeaux and always used standard double size bedding - tesco £9.99 a set plus a fitted sheet and cheap duvet from Dunelm or we just used spare stuff from the house (esp in winter - 13.5 tog goose down).
We bought our bedding from here - worth a look. We love ours.

Andi, just printed off the link, very useful and seeing the interiors has got me all excited.
Jalash, how did you get on with your Bordeaux? We're picking it up on Weds and cant wait.
We p/ex'd it Oct 2009 for a Pegasus. We had it for 5 years without any faults whatsoever. We did have a water filter filter crack on us (water left in it by service agent!!). Stable tow and quite easy to get a decent nose weight (80kg). Give the spare wheel carrier a go before going anywhere - (lots on here about them being difficult). I guess we covered around 25k miles with it in tow - so quite well used.
We use standard fitted sheets on ours, but they fit much better if the elastic goes all around. Many fitted sheets just have elastic at each corner - not anywhere near as good IMHO. We got out fitted sheets (with elastic all the way around) from TKMAX. A very helpful assistant unpacked and re-packed various packets of fitted sheets until we found the ones with elasic all around. Someone recommended these type of fitted sheets - veryu good.
thanks DSB, think the Lidl sheets have the elastic all the way round Off there in a minute to investigate. That does make alot of sense as we just used normal double fitted sheet in the inlaws MH and I was forever having to remake the bed, drove me potty.

It used to drive us potty too - especially when the one side of the fixed bed is up against the wall of the caravan. Don't have the same problem now we've upgraded to full elastic!!
