Hi there, I bought a satellite dish and tripod of ebay last year - far too large at 60cm dish, but it works a treat.
However when in France I was blocked by a high hedge on my pitch and I have been told to get some height to use the jockey wheel to clamp my pole to. I dont have any problem picking up a signal usually, although the sat finder helps in france, where the margin for error seems much less.
Does anyone know of any screw together or clip together lightweight poles that I might be able to buy to get some significant height for my dish with? I dont watch tv at home, only when I am on holiday and when you are travelling alone with three teenagers you can be glad of BBC News 24 when they've all found their pals and left you of an evening!
Any ideas very welcome, thank you. The tripod I have is great, just not tall enough in some situations.
Thanks, Christine
