Somewhere on my internet travels over the last month, I've seen a really good checklist of what to equip your caravan with or what to take on a caravan trip - starting with the caravan keys and finishing with the beer

I'd thought it was on here but I can't find any reference to it - I can find the really sensible basic equipment one, but this one branched out into pegs for washing, binbags, potato peelers and bottle openers, via awnings and airers, sleeping bag liners and toilet chemicals....

Have you seen one? Or do you have a spreadsheet that you can't leave the house without checking off?

Yes, we bought the Lunar!  We pick it up a week on Saturday and I'm making lists/sub lists and uber-lists like a madwoman!  Of course, that would be the week that Mr WR starts a new job on Monday so will be thoroughly unavailable to discuss important things like which herbs and spices he'd consider important (um, chilli powder and tomato ketchup ).

Annoyingly, the storage place about quarter of a mile away at the bottom of our road has told me they don't take caravans over 12 years old - ours is a 1998 van.  I did try to tell them that it perhaps hadn't quite turned 13 yet, but they weren't buying that line

I have a list I could post on here but it does not include beer/wine. I like lists to work from when we go away but there are somethings I just don't need to put on the aide memoire as the memory is still alive and kicking and I can remember some stuff without a checklist!!!

If you would like my list just say and I will post it....add your own booze.

Yes please to you posting your list, Phil - anything that feeds my list obsessions is A Very Good Thing!

I can remember nothing without a checklist - I seem to wander the house festooned in Post-It notes and with reminder alarms going off on my phone :-)

It is a bit exciting :-) It seems to have taken over life a bit, though, and I'm sure we used to talk about other things!  Mr WR has only been home ten minutes and our  only two conversations so far have been about the necessity or otherwise of having a CaSSOA registered storage site, and whether you have to buy a special low voltage toaster and kettle!
