Would really like to look at getting a bailey wyoming, but the xc90 tow bar has vertical limit of 90kg but can pull 2250kg

Anyone else pulling twin axel, with a 90 limit, or should i forget it and look to single axel.?

Dont know what you mean by vertical limit as ive never heard of it but we tow or did tow our bailey california with a shogun but used the wifes teranno sometimes with no probs, and thats about the same size van.Had a look at your type of car and i would say you would have no probs unless some one knows better..

Sorry vertical limit is what it says on the bar, its nose weight limited to 90kg.

An "S" rating of 90kg is higher than most vehicles. Only heavy 4x4's will exceed this, the ALKO "A" frame is only rated to 100kg. As I have said before you will just have to watch your loading technique to achieve this.

No never towed a caravan before, use my dads camper alot and found it annoying to have to keep packing up every time we want to go some where.

Usage, not as much as i would like expect the xc90 will give me low 20s mpg. Mainly school holidays.

Towing doesn't bother me, but with no experience just want to do it right with no damage or surprises. The size is a little worrying but i expect you get used to it.    

No point wasting time looking at wyomings only to find it will tear the back of the car off.

I'd imaging with sensible loading you'd be more than fine.
