I'm sure I read somewhere that you can change your 'normal' bulbs with small bayonet caps to led lights, but I cannot remember where I read it. If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

Their are many suppliers of LED bulbs but I have looked in to this Towing and trailers have told me they do not stock them as all they can find are not EC approved and therefore not suitable for road use.

just my opinion if you can not use them legal on the car then the same applies to a caravan.and possible MOT fail on your car.

You need to know which you have already bayonets are here.  Straight forward remove old one and replace with new. We phoned first and went through exactly what we needed.  Very helpful people even down to white or warm white for each particular bulb.

I knew that's what you meant :) as alot of folks are changing their vans internal lighting to LED we have thought about it too.when people were going on about them being illegal , I thought what!!! Lol

Hi, May be they have been thinking that you were going to put them on car/van as running lights,or that, as caravan travells on road and all the buffeting it gets the bulbs are not up to that standard.
