Can anyone give me some advice please, Firstly I have noticed from reading the forums that the weight of your caravan counts when buying a motor mover, My caravan seems very heavy to me and also I live on a slope, How do I find out the weight of my caraven and what is the best mover for me? I urgently need to get this sorted as since my Husband passed away I have to rely on help every time the caravan needs moving, any advice greatly appreciated :-)
Your caravan will have metal plate (usually located near the door somewhere) indicating how heavy your caravan is. There two figures on this plate indicating the weight of your caravan unladen (MiRO) and the other with it fully loaded (MTPLM). We have a motormover on our existing caravan Powrtouch motormover on our 22ft caravan which weighs approximately 40kg and is very good. However, I'm not sure whether it could do a slope or not.
I hope this helps.

We have a Powrtouch Model 3 (the older type) which drives our caravan up a 1 in 5 hill effortlessly, despite only having an 85ah battery and being close to the weight limit of 1500kg for the Powrtouch. Incidentally, most movers have a limit of 1800 kg. The Swift Bridgemere is under the 1500 kg limit of the Powrtouch.
