Decided I (we) need a mover - ano domini et al!

Problem is - what is suitable?

We have an Abbey Piper 2-12, '95/'96 vintage. This model seems to have a "chassis depth" of 6"-6.5".

Some of the movers on offer on E-Bay specify a "chassis depth" of 8.5" !

Any, sane, advice welcomed .

That's a surprise, jhsw as the Reich used to be renowned for it's low ground clearance. They had a lot of problems with them a few years ago clipping kerbs.

Just bought the one needed on e-bay and will get it fitted asap.

As well as your goodselves Reich were most helpful, saying " . . a ground clearance of at least 18cm needed . . .". We have 24/25 cm, thank heaven! Plus they confirmed the model we were bidding on was suitable.

So here's to stress-free positioning on sites - still got the problem of when the "boss" says LEFT is it MY left or HERS.

Hi brianaauk, you will find moving van so much easier with the mover,enjoy the new toy.Oh Remember not to have EHU on when mover isolating switch ON, as it May fry the control box of the mover(£100+).
