We drink the water out of the site taps, but only after boiling if it has been through the pipe system, and we are still here.

I'm with surfer on this one,I don't fancy drinking water that's been hanging around in an Aquaroll or the internal pipework especially during the summer!

I get it straight from the tap and use it as needed for drinking.

Why do people assume that because someone says they don't drink from the caravan's system they are one of the "bottled water brigade"?

I don't drink from the van's supply because I prefer fresh cool water from the mains supply.

 I've never heard of anyone being electrocuted on a campsite but I don't disregard the possibility.

We're with Rabbin on the water front.  We clean our pipes barrel, pump everytime before we go away, then there arn't any worries.  We've never had any problems to date with drinking in this way.

I think you can be too carefull with these things.

As for showers I/We generally try to use the site facilites, saves on working drying out the shower room etc.  I think it's a habit we got into with our old van because the shower was pretty poor.  We've not tried with the latest van yet, but the water pressure on this van/pump is way better than the old one, so I suspect the shower will be better.

As we're planning on hitting more farm sites this year, I suspect it might get tried out soon though.

First trip planned is for Feb, can't wait.
