Hi arkaig, "
The Insurance company are playing funny buggers already so I'll let you know how it goes. I've ordered a replacement already as I'm not wasting my seasonal pitch time on some insurance company too'ing and fro'ing. Here's to our wee but n' ben! ". With no awning or pictures to prove damage, maybe you could get site to type you a official headed letter and stamp,to state the damage to your awning, and give it to the insurance company, worth a try, hope you get it sorted soon.
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
