We also have names for our cars - mine is Darcy and my OH has Monty!

I have lots of names for other items - a have an allen key called Bob and a dragon tree called Colin.

Last weekend was our first outing with Zeus, & what a change from folding campers, great weekend.

Good choice :)
Did you enjoy your first trip , you can't beat a caravan! It's a lot easier.

Yes we loved it. No problems towing, easier to reverse as it's not as twitchy as a folding camper and no setting up. Nice to have a useable oven & proper size fridge. We even tried the shower, just because we could. We are so pleased with him. One of our friends, who has a twin axle Elldis which he got last year commented on the finish, saying it's a lot better quality than his van.

Thinking of calling ours 'Mac' as it's a Fleetwood. Perhaps there's a good name in one of their songs, must have a play of them to see.

Happy caravanning.

Changed my mind about Spike for ours - somehow it just didn't feel right !  I'm convinced she's a girl anyhow....  as she's a bit of a monster compared to our last wee 'van - but a friendly sort of monster -  we've decided on Nessie

 It's official, I'm cracked !

Our first was a Fleetwood Heritage EB so hubby called her Edith Bowman? Go figure, the one we have now is a Senator Montana, so he's Monty and has lots of personality !!

If caravans weren't meant to have names then why do the manufacturers not just give them numbers?? All it is is a little renaming! I find everything I love gets a name, kids, hubby, pets, caravan etc.

I'd love to know what 'a life' constitutes too, just so I know if I have one or not, I thought I did, but I could be wrong?

Well after much deliberation over names, and a few trials , today I was giving it a little bit of love to the van a window wipe ect, and I realised that his face looks like Budgie the little helicopter ( yes my van has a face) so as from today my swift is to be called Budgie!!!
