Universal annexes should by rights fit any awning that has a removable u shaped side, but do not fit the ones where the side slides into the awning rail. Also some annexes will not fit the awnings if they are different ages.
I know nothing about annexes but wanted to check you got the email I sent you a few days ago. If you've not seen it, check your spam/junk mail as hotmail messages seem to go there a lot!
Hi white rose yes i did i am going to give the one in Bramley a ring tomorrow to see if they still have the big one in. thanks for that
by the way we set our awning up today and after the initial scratching of heads and looking at each pole and each other me and julie managed to put the awning up and it looked good a few minor tears that had been repaired but it was good, it's a NR pullman but an old one so do you think a currant model of annexe will fit it? we are waiting for a response from NR themselves. it's the kind that one side slides up the rail.
I have just bought a second hand NR Pullman awning and it is in excellent condition but I dont know how old it is and would like to buy an annexe for it. I dont quite get the difference between the zips I see advertised so dont know if I need a particular one or if a universal one would fit. Any help would be appreciated.
I have an NR Pullman awning. I bought the annex and inner tent from NR last year (£180 ish) but haven't used it yet. By an extraordinary co-incidence, I will be using the annexe for the first time this week-end. It is still in its cardboard box, but at the front door, waiting for me to stick it into the 'van tomorrow morning. While I was looking for annexes last year, it did seem to me that universal ones would fit, but the NR one zips into the side where the original side would, as opposed to the universal ones which strap on instead of zipping on. Due to the amount of wind we have up in Scotland, I thought the extra expense of zipping in was justified, but was slightly miffed to find that the inordinate price did not mean a matching colour of annexe to awning.
The NR Pullman now has a U shaped side and not one where half zips into the awning rail. Good luck with NR I asked them about an inner for a sleeping annexe not a tall one and they just said we haven't made them for some time not a lot of help, they also failed to respond to my question about being unable to create an account on their website!
Can anyone tell me if there is another make of annexe that will fit my walker awning. Having real trouble finding a walker annexe, seemingly used ones dont come along very often and I cant afford to buy a new one!
