Hi kenmorrell, Had an Esterel van some years ago,if remember correctly??? ,there are 2 bolts going thought the chassis that holds the steadies, look under van and see where they are bolted on, it should be easy to take them off and you can get steadys from a caravan accessory shop, get one that is neerest size to yours, may need new holes drilled, sorry cant be of more help, should be other Esterel caravan owners along shortly  with more up to date help. good luck.

Hi kenmorrell, If I remember correctly???, I think there was a C shaped clip (looks like a washer) behind the steady winding nut, near the thread, you should also check the end of thread, as on mine i would need to take off all the bolts holding steady, hope these pics help.

199 Sorry have not got pics of  the esterel steadys, there are a few current esterel owners on here, they may be able to get you some pics,or help you with the setup, but have not seen this post yet, should be along shortly, Thought almost certain the steady was bolted to the out rigger that comes from chassis, and bolted through floor of van. hope this helps

Hi  PS You pull out the C shaped clip from the screw, and withdraw it out of holder, on one van I had there was a washer and split pin on end of screw holding it to the inner bracket.( similar to car scissour jack), It has been so long since i had the Esterel, cant give you a better idea of repair, have a look on the back posts, of the features/tips, and repair sections on this forum,my find something there. if i find anything there i will post it. good luck.
