Hi,
We have had our 2006 Bailey Ranger Series 5 for the past 18 months.
We have noticed there are 3 small patches on the inner wall next to the toilet, of small, hard 'pimple' like lumps. The best way to describe the feel of them them is like crunchy silica gel that you get in sachets in shoes etc. As far as we are aware they have only appeared in the past month or so.
I have a terrible suspicion (and I'm seriously worried) that it is damp. Has anyone else had this? Typically it has come at the time we want to sell our caravan - what can we do???
Any advice is greatfully received - thank you.

Being a 2006 model it will still be under the 6 year water ingression warranty assuming you have kept the service history up . Your local Bailey dealer should be able to assist and verify if its damp

Hi-this sounds suspiciously familiar. We had it on our 2007 Sprite-sorry but it turned out to be damp. They were very small, hard 'pimples' next to the toilet-
(look alot bigger on the photo than they were).
Ours went back to the dealer, but eventually ended going back to Swift for repairs under the 6yr water ingress warranty (they were excellent btw).As has been said,I would take it for a damp test asap.
Best of luck,
Jenny

Thank you. It looks exactly like the picture - the only difference is that ours is in small patches.
Problem is we haven't had it serviced since we bought it last year, so lesson learnt.
We are going to take to our local servicing place and see what they say. I'm really hoping it can be fixed soon as we had already decided to sell it.
If we do sell it once any work is completed, will it have a big effect on the price?
Thanks guys :)
