Hi all going away this weekend, and using the awning bedroom annexe thing for the first time, can I ask does anyone use a awning carpet in it ,not the breathable one ( we have that) but just to make it a bit cosier for DS I was thinking of getting one like a gelert fleece tent one with the PVC backing, just to put down on the floor at night.
Any recommendations ect

For the annexe a large plastic backed picnic rug will be cheaper than a tent carpet and theyre not much different .
I got a nice quality foil backed one from aldi or lidl that was a good size (about double airbed size )for about £6 last year .

Ah excellent :) thats a good idea, typical we sell the four berth, get a two berth all singing and dancing just for us two, then DS decides that perhaps he will start coming again!!!!

I'm thinking though when he's away with us this weekend he may remember why he stopped coming with us, because no way am I selling this van, so I shall splash out on a awning carpet but that's as far as it goes , don't want to make him to comfy

Tesco were doing large picnic blankets that make good floor coverings and wash ok too.

Must admit I did think you'd be better just letting his tootsies get a bit cold and I'd possibly consider shopping around for those nylon sheets you used to get some years ago ...

Good idea, I'm also thinking of scrapping the carpet idea, and just throwing down straw, I tell you if you see his bedroom at home that would be a step up!!!
