hi,we're thinking og getting one of these vans, watching one on ebay.does anyone have any info on them,do campsites allow them due to their size? any info would be great. thanks
I thought it was going to be bigger too lol,23 foot is quite a standard size for a fourth/six berth, my sisters Avondale argente is 23 foot. as long as you can tow it legally it will be ok I think.I think they are dry vans ( no loo or bathroom) and I do know they are favoured by some if the travelling community. And I think the door is on the other side.I think they are quite heavy though, maybe wrong though.

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
A 630 has a 6.3mtre body length, add the hitch & you have about 24ft. It might be 2.5mtres wide but legal to tow with suitable 4x4. Well made caravan, only special order 'vans are 'dry' most have toilet & sink etc.
could it be towed with a fiat doblo? thats what we have. the van doesnt have a bathroom but thats not a problem really,it also doesnt have an oven for some reason, stil in 2 minds about it.thanks for all the info everyone.
No you can't tow it with a Fiat Doblo. Depending what engine your car has & whether current or older model your limit will be a small 4berth caravan or a 2berth.
what a great caravan it is ,we had one and i deeply regret selling it for a static ,we no longer have the static and the tabbert still sits on a seasonal site which we pass quite often ,its a great roomy caravan and very sturdy ,i would have another one in a minute, think hubby towed it up there with a transit van
Doblos seem to be about 1300 to 1400 kg with max towing weights of 1100 kg or 1300 kg so be very careful what you look at. Check your handbook and it will give you exact figures or else post the car's details on here and somebody will find them for you.
