That's why I took it along to the weighbridge. I've got it documented that its actual weight is over 1400kg..... A pleasant and reassuring surprise.
Also the cars max towing weight is 1300kg.
And although i'm new to caravanning itself i've towed caravans before, car trailers, box trailers etc thru work. So not totally 'green' in a towing sense.
My first two trips were in rather windy conditions. Yes I was apprehensive, but thankfully I'm blessed with a solid combination of knowledge and common sense, particularly with regard to loading, and the outfit was as solid as a rock, even over the bridges spanning Moray Firth, Cromarty Firth and Dornoch Firth, with their associated cross-winds.
