Hi Donna. I'm sure the dealers will sort it for you, but I would advise taking it back to the dealer from which the van was purchased. I would have strongly argued that as you have not had the van 12 months, it ought to be covered under warranty.
If you use EHU on sites, then I can't see why your battery is 'empty'. When you plug in on site it should keep your battery charged up. I know there are those who say you should charge the battery regularly, especially over winter, but we have never done this and have only ever once had a battery problem. That was when we left our Master switch on. Apparently if you leave the master switch on, the radio standby will take enough power out of the battery to help flatten it.
Sorry I can't be of much more help, but it just might be that something I have mentioned will ring a bell. Hope you get it sorted soon - it's probably one of these simple things that might not be obvious to us, but might be completely obvious to a dealer - let's hope so.
