We are looking at upgrading our old lightweight awning , we like the look of and are impressed with users opinions of the Kampa Fiesta.
Has anyone used one with a S6 Bailey Bordeaux , reason i am asking is we would like the largest poss awning that will fit the van and we are unsure which model would be suitable.
Off hand, I would have thought you would be OK. The things to check would be the height of the Fiesta and the height of the van from the floor to the awning rail. We use the Fiesta on a Series 7 Sancerre and I suspect the height of the two vans are similar, if not the same. I know the Alutech vans are higher, but I think folk even use the Fiesta on these. I will need to check out the spec. to be on the safe side, but I am unlikely to be able to do this until Sunday now, as I've got an impossible few days ahead. Someone else may know though.
The other thing to check is whether or not the Fiesta will partly cover the window(s). This may not be an issue for you, but I know there are those who would see this as a reason to look at a different model. We have used the Fiesta for two years with no problems and it cuts across a window. If no-one else comes up with a clearer answer, I'll have a close look at the measurements on Sunday afternoon.

We use the Fiesta on our 2004 Bordeaux but I'm not sure what the spec difference is between the S6 and ours. We find it really easy to fit and it is our prefered awning for weekend trips. The awning just fits between the door and the window at the front and just before the shower room window at the back so there is still easy access to the fluids door at the rear.
I have got a photo on my gallery.

The overall height of the Bailey Series 6 Bordeaux van is 2.58m according to the brochure. This is exactly the same as my Series 7 Sancerre. To measure a porch awning you need to measure from the ground to the awning rail, so the height will be shorter than the 2.58m quoted for the overall height as this measurement also includes the arial. I think the Series 6 and Series 7 have the same arial, so I'm 99.9% certain the awning will fit your van because I know it fits mine. As a double check the Kampa Fiesta fits caravans between 235-250cm high (floor to awning rail).
You need a straight length of either approx. 350cm (for the Kampa Fiesta 350) or 270cm (for the Kampa Fiesta 270) across the top of the van. What I can't tell you is whether the awning will come across any of your caravan windows - you can only really judge this yourself (or measure). Take into consideration that the awning is likely to slope out a little from ther roof (see my gallery pictures). The awning cutting across a window is not really an issue for us (as I mentioned in my first post above).
At least I managed to look up the heights before Sunday, which means you can now start searching for your awning. Best of luck - Hope this has helped a little. Do get back if you have any other questions. Let us know how you get on.
We finally remembered to measure the Bordeaux and it looks like the fiesta 350 will fit snugly behind the front window and take up the rest of the van maybe covering the rear loo window a little.
Maybe just coincidence but after measuring up we awoke the next morning to find that our old porch awning had leaked so looks like its time for a new awning.
Ive found one on line for £249 delivered from Norwich camping so will try to release the purse strings.

Check the price Jim. I've just been on their website and it's coming up at £329. See here? They should be able to do better than this, unless of course, your price is correct. If it really is £249, then that's the best price I can find - check to make sure it is the 350 and not the 270. The next best price I can find is Black Country Caravans at Cradley Heath - they have it on as £254 here.
Finnaly bought the Fiesta 370 in wine red today after a lot of searching around.
Bought the ex demo unit from Catterick caravans, perfect condition, complete as new with full warranty..£199 !!!!!!
New stock is due in retailing at £349 which ties in with the new Norwich camping price
Its making its first outing tomorrow , ill report back with my findings.
