We are beginning to think about insurance for our caravan although it isn't due until end of August.

We've just done an online quote from both the CC and the C&CC. Our insurance has been with the C&CC because it has always been about £100 cheaper than the CC. This time the 2 quotes only differ by £20.

So dilema - who should we go with this year? Has anyone had any problems making a claim from either of the clubs? Any feed back at all would be appreciated.

We have been with the CC for 5 years now. We recently had to make a claim (OH reversed into a fence and cracked the rear panel). It was dealt with promptly.

We are waiting, with trepidation, for the renewal premium!

Jennifer, it would be good to know how much they sting you for folloiwng your claim! This makes me cross with insurance - you pay for insurance but should you make a claim its soars!

We have always found Park Homes the cheapest (now called Coast) but this year we moved to

We were with Caravan Guard until this year, but have just received an excellent quote with better conditions from Saga.

We were also with Saga until I read a previous post on this forum recomending Simple Caravan Insurance. I did a quote on line for the same details as with Saga and saved £35. Oh and also got 120 days European cover in with the price.

We were with C&CC for the last van as it was much cheaper than the CC. Like you, for our current van there wasn't much difference so we went with the CC. People speak so highly of them and there were less security and storage restrictions.
