hi all, we have a ticamo awning and it has a large clip on either side where the storm straps clip into. Unfortunately, we havent got the straps! Are these type common? If so, does anyone know where i can get a pair? Cheers all
i bought a pair of clip straps for my seasonal awning this year but after a walk round the site and talking to other owners decided not to use them. there was 3 awnings on site were the stitching had given way at the point where the fixed clip is attatched .
.
one of them had also torn and patched up, but to be fair the where left up all season and a few years old

i use these and a strap over the top too.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Anything passing over the awning will have the possibility of rubbing as it moves in the wind. One alternative is to strap the frame poles down instead.

This is the way a few awning manufacturers are going now, tie down inside over poles, so no rubbing on awning and no tearing or undoing of stitching on the other method.

Same as above really. When I was buying my awning the sales chap advised against the buckle on design as they rip off and strongly recommended the type which go inside the canvas and hold the frame itself down.
