We our 1 year old one transferred to our new caravan. They discovered the main board was blown. They kindly sent off for a replacement under warranty. ...... that one arrived blown too. Third one OK. That's for a top-price bit of kit. The dealer didn't have a good word to say about the quality of their components.
on my second power touch on second van, very impressed, ours was fitted for £800 when we bought the van, its the cross accentuation one, so £850 not bad just make sure its 'man enough' for you van as the basic one might not be.
We ordered our mover from their stand at the southern motor-home show in Newbury - they always seem to do an offer at shows as we had enquired about one for our previous van a couple of years ago and they were knocking about £100 off the normal list price.
We're on our second Powertouch mover & I wouldn't want to be without it. If you call Powertouch, they'll tell you how much it'll cost to have a mover fitted. I'd go for the heavy duty version if I were you, that's my opinion because I prefer to have caacity to spare with things like this. As far as I remember, ours cost around £900 fitted & with a five year warranty.
Rang Powertouch regarding pricematching Riversway Leisure's £655 fitted and got a Heavy Duty fitted for same ! Rang them on Monday, fitter called Wednesday, unit delivered Thursday and fitted on Saturday ! Hows that for service.
just rang Powertouch and they are refusing to price match against the Riversway Leisure one saying they arent comparable. She is insistent that anyone who had the mover price matched didnt get a heavy duty fitted one. Pretty fed up here.
