we have just taken delivery last sat of our new (to us) van.
its a 2007 abbey vogue series 1 470,now its all ok,no problems, everythings working in her,but connected it up at home here, water electric etc, filled water heater and checked all was well.
come to get air out of system, and this is where the fun starts!!! turned cold tap on in kitchen, air spluttered out then water,no problem, but lo and behold, water sprayed everywhere from tap, turned it off and on inspection found that the little end of the tap was missing, the one that directs the water down,it screws into the end of the tap, washer was there ,but no diffuser!!!! wet my bl****y trousers thro!!!!!.
checked the tap in bedroom, same thing, end missing, now thats a flippin joke!!!,i can only assume that when it was on the dealers forecourt for sale, some lowlife had been in it and nicked em when lookin round the van, people do such things!!!
called the dealer yesterday and explained problem,he was shocked, will locate them and send them to us in the post asap, its not something that they check on pre-delivery inspection, they have done the main stuff and give us a certificate and stamped the service book,so cannot fault them there.
if you want a good deal and service can certainly reccommend em tho.white arches at rushden, they looked after us well.
