If it states that it's okay for leisure batteries it should be okay but what does it say the charge rate is in amps?

So according to the charger then there are 3 different settings, 2 amps, 6 amps and 12 amps. Yes this should be okay but make sure you switch it to the 2 amp setting otherwise anything higher than 3 amps could start to cook the battery which is best avoided especially if you are considering purchasing a new one.

First of all you need to measure the width of the battery box as some battery boxes are not big enough to accept a 110ah battery. You should be okay with the 75ah battery but of course it won't hold a charge for as long as a 110ah will. The term ah means 'Amp Hours' so basically you get 75 amp hours from the 75ah battery and 110 amp hours from the 110ah battery so it depends how long you are out for and the power consumption you need to use it for. Now if you have a caravan with a 12 volt operating flush toilet this will demand more power, if you use a television, again more power required and if you have a motor mover then again more power required so need to ask yourself, what consumption an I going to use and for how long for? I have a 110ah battery and what I use it for mainly is to opretate the submersible water pump, ignite the fridge, the radio/CD player and for 12 volt lighting in the evening. Other than this I don't consume anymore power but remember that if you intend using the shower then the pump will be on constant for 5 minutes or more. I also have a 13 watt solar panel which is sufficient to keep the battery charged but the more power I consume then the larger solar panel I need to keep the battery charged. I also have a generator for back up just in case the battery needs a bit of a top up charge. So there are lots to consider about what battery you need but I started out with an 85ah battery which would last about 4 days without a charge but as we go out for longer periods now of course I need the bigger 110ah battery. i know it's a bit confusing but I hope this information at least gives you a guide as to what you need from a leisure battery.
