The Blown Air heating on my van only stays hot for about 20 minutes, then blows Cold, if I press the reset button it goes back on Hot straight away for another 20 minutes , anybody got a solution , no kinks in pipes or dirty fan blades
It has been known for the thermostat to be positioned so its too close to the heating elements so they cut out quicker. You can get ones with a longer reach so they can be positioned away from the heater. What happens if you run the heater on convection without the fan?

We had this problem on our last van. The thermostat for the space heater was located in a general instrument panel in the sidewall of the wardrobe. The heater was immediately below the wardrobe, and the vented floor of the wardrobe allowed a substantial amount of warmth to build up in the wardrobe. The internal plastic housing of the instrument panel got quite warm, which must have had an effect on the thermostst in which it was housed.
To avoid the heater changing to cold air, we had to keep the thermostst setting at its highest point.
The problem here is a lack of airflow over the internal elements, the solution is a strip down and clean out.
It is NOT sufficient to simply clean what you can see, the unit needs to come out and the main flat cover plate removed, if this is not screwed on, then you will find a 2mm Allen key very useful?!, replace using new M3x10mm self tapping screws
