my parents tow with a 10 plate carens diesel and when ive borrowed it and drove it solo it seems to have plenty of torque and power(dont know the exact horsepower).
the brake is a definite love-hate thing.you apply it by foot,but to release it you just press a button on the dash ,to electronically release it , thus leaving your feet free to operate the clutch and gas as normal.
my personal opinion is,whats wrong with the tried and trusted hand brake lever?
