we use sleeping bags, unzipped for warmer weather and zipped when it colder.  when we were in Italy and the weather was hot we just used sheets that were sewn to make a cotton sleeping bag.  worked very well.

We have always used sleeping bags, but as duvets !!! We have two bags, one unzipped goes over the cushions to level things out a bit, then a double flat sheet, then the top sheet and the second sleeping bag on top as a duvet. Very comfy and the two bags live in stuff sacs so they are easier to tidy away rather than one large duvet.

We also use Duvalays in our 2 berth but I decided after our first trip it was too much hassle to put them away every day, so now I leave the long seat back cushions at home. During the day I fold the duvet in half and cover with folded fleece throws (used for extra warmth if required at night) I use the loose cushions end cushions and pillows as a back rest during the day.
Works for us as we mostly live in the awning during the day and can still sit on the Duvalay if we want to be inside the van.

we use sleeping bags as they take up less room as we dont have fixed beds they are easier to store away under beds, if we had fixed beds it would be duvet and sheets from home

When using duvets in the last caravan I folded them to the same depth as the seats then rolled them,  & squished them into the space at the top of the seats where the drawer unit was (one on each seat I mean)

The chest of drawers held the duvets neatly in place & the duvets then effectively doubled  up as nice big sausage-shaped pillows/cushions.  Very comfy to lie against & they were also conveniently to hand when it was bedtime.  The pillows I kept at the other end of the seats (one each side again) also doubling as cushions in the daytime.  You can always put a fleece or similar over to keep them clean.  Worked well for us.

We use two king size duvets, one under us and one on top.  We dont have a fixed bed so the one underneath evens out the cushions and it's much easier to just roll it out than crawl over the cushions trying to spread a sheet out evenly and tuck it in.

We use two single duvets and two 2"inch memory foam toppers with removable covers on the front we also take two fleece blankets and just use them on there own if its hot or with the duvets if its cold.
