Hi was just wondering about tyre pressures on my van as it says 33 on side of wheel arch but that was for the old t rated tyres.. I now have 8ply tyres on it that say max infation 65psi any idea's as i was thinking of 50psi or so??
My tyres on my van are 175 x 13 and they advise 50 psi tyre pressures in the handbook. Just thought I would mention this because if the tyres are the same size then it just may be something to go on as as a guide.

My old Coachman had tyre sizes the same as yours 165 x 13 and the handbook stated 42 psi but the unladen weight was only 870 kgs. and 1000 kgs. fully laden if that's any help to you.
You should use the pressure noted on the wheel arch, it is worked out to be correct for the maximum weight of the van you have. The number of plys is not significant.
kjellnn it makes a masive difference as the load capacity of the tyre is very different from the t rated 4 ply tyres that were on the van from the manufacturer.. The tyre's can take 1000kg each and my van is only about 960kg unlaiden and 1160kg max.. So the tyres can hold 2000kg at max psi of 65 was just wondering if any one else had a corvette with uprated tyres what tyre pressures they were using.. Sorry to waffle it comes form 15 years in the tyre trade..
