We bought our caravan second hand its 20 yrs old without any paperwork we bought it from a fellow member I was talking to OH and realised if it was to be stolen god forbid how would we prove it was ours?
Take some pics of it with you inside or,go below the floor and make a mark, like your name written in endelable ink, somewhere it will not wash off with road spray.Other things your name inside drawers, cupboards etc.

Another one is to get a bill of sale from the seller.
Also in line with the hint above ask one of your local police neighbourhood team to mark your van with a UV pen with your post code and and an initial that only you would know about, even better ask for a freebie. Mark items that can be removed easily is another good tip
i have each cushion marked on the rear with a number in marker ink.at a cost of £1000 i doubt they will change them.photos of all little dents on the van.i also have memorised the chassis number.other modifications i have made and can identify where they are. a CRIS document is the only real proof of ownership.

------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
i am bit worried i wont be abell to spot our van if its stollen think i need to make it stand out more lol. I think just putting your post coad on as amny fixed items as possile that are hiden take photos of the reg number and a bill of sale should cover everything

I have seriously considered getting our postcode put in big black letters on the roof (ala police car type affair ) Any toerag stealing it wouldn't be aware and it would be easily visible from the air whilst motoring along on the motorway .In the end we decided if it were ever stolen ,we wouldn't want it back anyway
Do you mean if it was already stolen, and you bought it, (in which case tough), or if it was stolen now? In which case, as already mentioned, take some photos with you in it, and mark some of the internal fixed items.
Fallen Angel yes I could see why you would be concerned , how you going to describe your van and prove that it's yours!!

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
Dont worry craig my brothers friend owned it from new, then my brother. then my daughter who stole it from my brother last november lol. we can do you a bill of sale. should have done at time of purchase but forgot.email me your details and the date you bought van will ask wife to do bill of sale.
