I've been thinking for ages what to replace our beloved bongo with when the time comes. Ideally it would be a slightly bigger campervan but would want one only about 5 years old and don't have that kind of money. Thought of folding camper but don't want set up/put away, drying out faff if we can help it. Over the years I have always liked the look of the Eriba and have seen in a couple this week. Wow, they have stolen my heart. We have had caravans in the past and they were just home from homes and I felt a bit Stepford wife in them to be honest. The Eriba Puck is dinky enough to be more mobile and storable, just big enough to be liveable but not too homey. And boy, are they cool. They are also like hens teeth to get. Still want one!

i have a Abi adventurer listed on here for sale, very light and very adaptable.i liked the Eribas but prices ruled them out for me

Have a look at Automotive Leisure Poole for quite a good stock of used models.
We haven't got one but we did have a look at the Pucks a few years back - we did find it a bit claustrophobic when we sat in it.

We had a puck for about a year but found it too small, no loo & no hot water ! we now have a Lunar Ariva  & find it much more comfortable & still small enough to manage easily

Hi Stuart, thanks for the thumbs up on the abi but the Eriba appeals because of it's height and width. Our current set up has no loo and no hot water and no heating and probably less than half the living space of an eriba which will be positively luxurious by comparison. We don't want to back to a big caravan with all the mod cons, I feel the Eriba will be a good compromise and not stretch the budget as much as a decent camper van. I'll check out the Eriba forum. Thanks.

the puck is a incredibly well built van, all aluminium framing with the sheeting tig welded to it, if i could get my hands on one I would swap the garland in an instant

Had a look at the tabs, I would need to do a bit of research though. They might be shorter but wider and taller I think. The Eriba is still the one I fancy. I've been looking at availability in Hollland, seems to be easier and a bit cheaper to get there.

I have a Dutch Kip van and wanted one the minute I saw one, so I know where you're coming from! Very lightweight and easy to tow as well. I looked at the Eribas, but they were way too expensive for what they were IMHO.

Jax, have looked at the kip, bigger than the Eriba though. The size of the Eriba is the appeal for us, hardly bigger than a trailer but still more space than the bongo. I'm going on the premise that if we can holiday for weeks at a time in the limited (very) space we currently have anything bigger is a bonus. And much more within our price range than a bigger, newer camper van!

there is/was a place that sold them in west lothian, on the road between the addiewell new prison and west calder/stoneyburn road stay near it but not been over that way for about a year.
