Checked the cost online for Caravan Club insurance. £420.
Then phoned CC and got another quote: £359. Girl at the other end could not understand this either, but the moral here is do not just accept the website quote.
Funny really, I've had exactly the opposite with car insurance.
I do like CC insurance because they only require one security measure (simplest is hitchlock) when touring.

They also only require one security device at home or in storeage, unless there are special circumstances. I agree, they are not the cheapest, but they have my confidence.

Just a wee tip, NEVER go solely by what the CC site says!
Considering the size of the organisation, their site has been a disgrace since the day and hour it was launched!
The last time I tried to book a ferry online, I got a load of gobbledy gook, and even the lady on the phone admitted that they have loads of hassle with their site!

They don't seem to be able to keep the website up to date (- mind you, I've got no room to talk). If you want to book a site and it says it's full, then ring the site direct, you might find they have space after all.
