We have a 240v hand held Dirt Devil, it has rotating brushes and a small hose. It works ok for the caravan.

We have 2 Springers, a hard rubber grooming brush and a handheld Dyson!

Taking a small patch at a time, I use the brush to thoroughly brush the carpet and hoover up each pile of dog hair as I go along. Hard work, but it's the only thing that leaves the carpet hair free and clean! Brings the pile up beautifully!

I use brush, comb and furminator on the dogs!!!

240v dirt devil is brilliant had other hand held rechargeable ones which where rubbish, but the dirt devil is brilliant, and for car also has a detachable hose which is very powerful.

I bought one of THESE I used it for the first time last week and it is very good for picking up crumbs etc but not sure how good it would be on dog hair (not got a dog!)

Electrolux is great we have one it dose the caravan and the cars small enough to put under the seat and has a beater brush and crevis tool 600 watt motor so has good suction and no bags just empty bowl and brush off filter.

We have the argos Value Range one. £28 and does the job fine. No dogs or children though!
