My 1991 has the same. Personally I removed the onboard tank as it was pain to fill and remove to clean and I do very little winter caravanning, but I have kept it just in case. I have extended the water hose using one of these and a hose back to back connector and fitted the pump to the bottom of the hard plastic pipe using a bit of the soft hose and extended the pump wiring out through the filler cap hole (cap removed) and fitted a submersible pump in the Aquroll that sits outside. Much easier to fill at the site tap rather than trying to lift the Aquaroll up to a funnel fitted in the filler cap.

No problems. Had mine nineteen of it's twenty year life, bought from a dealer at one year old as unsold previous years stock, so pretty familiar it it. Apart from CRIS (1992 onwards), built-in toilet and maybe bed slats instead of a table, I think they are all very similar from 1990 to 1993/4 when I think they went end of life due to the situation in the then Yugoslavia.

i have a 27 litre onboard tank on my avondale van.. i carry two spare 27 litre containers in the car boot.. i fill the onboard tank from the spare tanks using a short hose with a pump on the end..
its most useful for off grid work.. water instantly on hand with nothing to connect up..
