Bought a second hand van about 3 years ago from a friend, and at the time i didnt know anything about CRIS registration as this was my first venture into caravanning. Was talking to someone the other day who advised i register the van and explained about CRIS and the number.
So i rang CRIS to register, armed with my CRIS number, however when i gave them the number and details they said they didnt have that number on file and said i must have the numebr wrong
So ive checked the number (which was correct) and rang them back and they told me that they dont have the number on file, and theres nothing they can do. I checked the number on all locations on the van and its the same everywhere so its quite obviously the right number
Is it a bad thing, not to register the van?
Any advice or suggestions please?
