Trouble with these cheap ones is that you have to be sitting straight on to the screen to watch a good quality screen, from the side or lying down looking up the picture quality is pretty bad. I have the Technika with build in DVD, good enough for the van and bedroom.
You can see a good clear picture at any angle and it can pause live tv, and seems to be able to pick up weak freeview signal without a problem in the carvan.
Thats the one we have with the DVD player excellent TV for the van its had a years use in the van and bedroom with no problems. My understanding is that there are only 6 manufactures for the lcd TV chip sets so most supermarket models tend to be pretty much the same and you should just opt for the best deal.
We got a fab tv from Maplins ,its small but it works on either EHU or car battery ,its really light ,so we have permanently mounted it in the van and routed the cable /aerial to it ,has a very wide viewing angle(up and down aswell as side to side ),plus it comes with its own roof airiel which works better that the caravan one .think it was only £130 .we just picked up a cheap £6 Tesco DVD player .
Got one brill tv, very good for the money, i belive made for tesco by samsung, you could of course go and buy one with a samsung sticker on it for £200 .
