no problems going across the lincs wolds, decent road too from louth to Mablethorpe, hope you have a good holiday,
but cant understand why any one would want to come out of Wiltshire to holiday in Mablethorpe.
------------- "PACESETTERS" German Shepherd dog display team, we are out and about raising money for guide dogs.
My inlaws live two miles from Mablethorpe. It looks like you are going as far as Wragby and then heading to Louth. We go via Horncastle but that means you've got to go through the middle of Alford, which is a small place with on street parking and traffic lights.
It looks like your route is the best if you are towing.
Only thing to watch for is the middle aged men on very high power motorbikes who treat the A roads as a racing circuit. You'll see warning signs for bikers along the route.
There is currently major road works on the A46 from Liecester to Newark (40mph speed limit most of the way). The route from Lincoln to Mablethorpe is fine for caravans, yes the road does get a little more twisty after louth but you will be ok. You could also consider taking the a46 from lincoln to market rasen and then go to louth (a little further but road not quite as busy. I work for a parcel delivery firm in Lincoln and my round includes Maybo, if you need further info im happy to help.

There is no problem driving through Alford, I have just done it both ways over the last weekend pulling an Adria Adora which is just under 8 metres long.
