The velcro strips that support the canopy when not in use and stored in It's bag have become unattached. Has anyone had this problem, and how did you overcome it?
I am on my second Caravanstore and fortunately I have not had that problem. I imagine they would need to be sown on so its finding someone able to do that. Perhaps someone who repairs/alters awnings?

Does it actually need to be in the velcro straps? It'd be a 2 person job but could it be rolled up & held in place manually while someone zips the bag up?
Hi David and Esther, Yes it should be sewn in, and we - or rather OH could probably do it but we wondered if anyone had a cunning plan! We tried strong double sticky sided velcro but the adhesive wasn't strong enough. We are having to do as you suggest Esther and holding firm while the other zips up! Thank you both for your replies.
I don't know if this would help, but I have an assortment of velcro straps that wifey made up (various lengths), consisting of half hook and half fuzzy bit, sewn end-to-end and opposite to each other (i.e hook facing one way and fuzzy the other). These can then be used for retaining all sorts; parasol, windbreaks etc., as just thrown round item and strapped.
If the originals can't be sewn back in, would having a few loose ones available be of help?
