We have recent suffered an arson attack in which our beloved caravan was burnt completely out, along with extensive damage to the front of our house and garage We were due to go away so it was fully loaded with everything
We have had a loss adjuster out to assess the damage and have now received their offer The problem is that they have quoted the Glass's guide price, despite me sending them examples of what is available of the same year, make, berths etc, and unfortunately I cannot buy a caravan of the same year, make, berths at that guide price Now, obviously I am going to reject this offer but will they up the offer to what the sum insured is do you think? It just makes me cross that although they are paying out the maximum for equipment and personal effects (although it won't cover everything we lost but we have to accept that), they are offering nowhere near the maximum insured for the caravan itself, which also had a motor mover.
