I run my business from our van when we are away ( I would rarther not !) I have a dongle with my blackberry contract so I have e mails to my Blackberry and orange moble broadband unlimted however as already mentioned many sites now have wifi and its normally better to connect to that .

Thanks for all the suggestions. For me it seems the TMobile/Orange PAYG dongle option would suit best. As stated, usage would be very light - check/send e-mails basically. £15 a month contract wouldn't be economically viable - that's £180 a year and I struggle at present to spend £30 per annum on my bog-standard PAYG mobile.
But thanks again everyone for some very useful info.
