Recently had experience of purchasing caravan over the internet from a Caravan Dealer in West Yorkshire, who were completely unknown to us.  Have to say the experience could not have been better.  The Company were Tourerworld of Brighouse.  We arranged to purchase the caravan, subject to seeing it, of course, picking it up, trying it out for  couple of days to sort out any problems, and returning to Northamptom.  Wow.....what service. We had almost decided on a caravan elsewhere, but the customer service was not good, and they could not have the caravan ready for collection for 10 - 14 days. The caravan from Tourerworld, was presented in immaculate order for its age, the welcome, the cup of coffee, the handover was excellent.  We spent a couple of days nearby, found a couple of things we had forgotten to ask, sorted out over the phone, a couple of glitches, returned on the Monday morning, and they were sorted out on the spot.  Complete satisfaction......and would not only recommend them for their sales, but their excellent customer service, not forgetting the fitter, who carried out the work on the glitches, with a smile, and no short-cuts.

Tourerworld, say they pride themselves on good old-fashioned service, and can certainly vouch for that.

Would certainly use them again, and would certainly travel to use their maintenance, servicing, or repair work.

I bought my van from Pentraeth Caravans on Anglesey - I would deffo reccommend to someone trying to buy a van round here.  We bought a van and after 2 trips away one of the steadies collapsed - we had only just got on site - which was good as I hate to think what state the steady would have been in when dragging on the road.

We used the jack to support the van but as it was friday evening we had to wait til the morning before we could report the problem.  They could not have been more helpful - they asked us to drop the van in as soon as we returned from our weekend away and they would have it fixed before the weekend.

They were very apologetic but I was more than happy with the service we recieved - nothing seemed too much trouble.

I would not give the other caravan dealer on the island the time of day - Arthur Daley has nothing on that guy! LOL
