Hi,

I have a bailey Ranger 550/6 year 2007 and a number of the buttons are loosing their material and a couple of the seitz blinds have broken end connectors. I have contacted Bailey regarding this and and was quoted ridiculous prices to replace the items, £3.56 per button & and £6,64 per pair of seitz spiggots with £5 P&P. I stated I was unhappy that this is happening on such a new caravan considering the amount of use it gets (compared to a settee). Bailey have just come back and said as the caravan material is no longer available an this reflects the cost, the Seitz spiggots can be found on a caravan spares website at £0.89, they said they must have got their pricing wrong and will look into this. Does anybody know where I can get spares for these items without paying ridiculous amounts?

Is there matching cushions ? If yes then use one of these and recover the buttons yourself. If you cant recover the existing buttons you can buy ones that you can recover from the haberdashery shop. It's an easy job to do.

You could try ebay,you will be surprised what they have on their.Also there is a caravan place we use called Halesowen Caravans which sell or sorts of bits and pieces,a real cave of a place for all sorts,they are on the internet if you look,could give them a call or Tipton Caravans,Jane
