Can I just say that I can't sing the praises of Kay and her team at Kingswood caravans highly enough.

As many of you know we had a terrible experience with a caravan we bought from Swindon caravans (the wheel fell off). We have since heard of 2 more cases of this happening from vans bought from them!

Well we went looking for something to replace our caravan that we'd had for three and a half months and came across our Lunar at Kingswood Caravans.

We explained to Kay what had happened, how we were on a tight schedule due to our France trip and she couldn't have been more helpful.

We were picking it up  on the 29th July (my birthday) and taking it to a local site for the weekend to make sure we knew how to do everything before our mini adventure.

I asked Kay if I could load the caravan up as we wanted to take it to the site as soon as Nick finished work. I took the first car load up at about 10.30am, one of her guys got everything from my car for me and loaded it onto the van ready for me to sort. As I was sorting things through Kay arrived with a delicious doughnut (cream inside) with a candle and sany happy birthday to me. I couldn't believe it, where else would someone do that? She had also offered me a tea or coffee the moment I got there.

She also left the cutest knitted teddy on the caravan for us that now lives on the van and is called Kay.

I think it's important to recognise great service and we're all too quick to complain or write about negative things.

So thank you Kay and team - you're the best and I can't recommend you highly enough!

Never purchased a van from them but bought a few items in their superb shop, a real "rabbit warren" of goodies. What they stock puts all the large caravan dealerships within  fifty miles or so to shame!

What fantastic service you have had! There are people out there who can provide excellent service - we found one but we didn't get cream cakes! To be fair we didn't have a birthday to celebrate though! Hope you enjoy your Lunar, we got ours in May and we love it! Who did you insure it with this time?

I recently have got into Caravaning.  I spent hours, and I mean hours, making a list of everything I would need - then searching online to find the best price for each item.

Then I drove past a little shop local to me - Kingswood Caravans - curiosity and my new caravaning interest made me stop.  I couldn't believe that 99% of the items I looked hard for on the internet were in the shop (3 floors of caravan and camping goodies) and CHEAPER than internet prices.

But, this isn't even the best bit - Kay and her team are SOOOO helpful and friendly.

I had a problem with my 'easy mover' (after it had lost an arguement with a car exhaust lying in the road) Kay and her team could not have been quicker and more professional solving the problem.

An example of how they operate - on a busy Saturday morning, Kay offered a member of staff to go with me to my storage site to help put the Caravan in its spot as my mover was broken.

If you are after advice about tent pegs through to buying a caravan and all in between you would be a fool to go anywhere other than Kingswood Caravans.

If I had bought my 'nearly new caravan' from them I would have saved £800 as well.
