Haven't been around for a while.  Had 4 1/2 weeks away on holidays.  Have benn on very occasionally when the 3 dongle obliged.  Thoroughly enjoyed out time in the West Country.  Took hundreds of photos. Thought I would select a few to share:

Our first site: Church Farm at Sixpenny Handley outside Salisbury.  Only there one night.  A packing up photo and a photo of 'The Shed' where we had a lovely meal the night before.

Next site.  Four nights at Forest Glade, Collumpton.  Photo of 'the forest!!', reception and relaxing under our new £14.99 windbreak with canopy.  Used mainly for cooking under with the Cadac, but helped to give us shade when the sun was strong.

Then we had 3 weeks at wonderful Globe Vale, just outside Redruth, Cornwall.

Me, polishing off a cream tea at Roskilly's 'Ice Cream Farm'.  Ice Cream was good too - who's counting the calories!!

Church Farm was the first campsite I went to after buying a caravan a few years ago. I nearly missed the entrance and had to make a very tight turn with the car almost 90 degrees to the caravan. It was scarey enough towing for the first time without have to drag the caravan sideways into the entrance 

It was a nice site but I don't think they had the cafe in the barn then. It was a winter trip and the grass was a little boggy in places but I managed ok.

We went staight past it and had to reverse the caravan up a small lane to turn around.  Site was OK for a short stay, but don't think we'd stay there for a 'main holiday' place.  Had an hardstanding (but only just fitted the van on it.

Hi Vanessa.  That windbreak was only £14.99 so we're happy if it just lasts us a bit longer.  Good for keeping off the rain when cooking too.

After 'experience', I found it better to cook sitting the opposite way around though.
