It is getting to that time of year again. Anybody got a recommendation for a decent Fan Heater. Would like to know if you consider one with an automatic cut-off and thermostat as important. It would only be used to give the Caravan a quick heat boost on return at the end of a day out or maybe at night-time.
I know the Blown-Air Heating will do the job but just thought having a Fan Heater may be an extra bit of comfort.
I am also minded to watch the Amps!!
I would get a cheap one. Most have a thermostat on if not all of them. Make sure to get one that has the option to have it on low power as well as high power. You may find it trips the electrics on high power but you can get away with it on low power.

We use THIS ONE from Argos. £18.99. It oscillates, has low heat, high heat, cool air and thermostatically controlled. Cuts out if not upright.
It heats up our small caravan in about 5 minutes.
Good for the price in my opinion.
We also have the Argos one above. We use it to heat the awning when we eat in there in the autumn, it works really well, gives out plenty of heat and hasn't yet tripped the electrics!
I use this one. Best thing I bought. I use it on low if I have other things on, but high if it is alone. The site I use only has 10amp hook up so I am really careful about appliances its a pain to keep asking him to reset the fuse so I learned quickly!!
Sorry for long link I don't know how to do the "THIS ONE" !!
I find it is enough without having the whole heating system on and it is movable which helps. I can stand it in the shower to warm it up or dry off some washing. It stands on floor when plugged in to wall. It oscillates, has safety cut out, and blows cold for the summer too. I think it is really good value and it just fits nicely inside my cupboard without taking up too much space.
