Looked at a few of these at the Newark Show; both USA and UK spec models. Are they a viable alternative to a caravan/motorhome? do they have a 'showman/gypsy' reputation? Anyone got one?
I question how practical they are, especially the larger ones. OK you might have more room inside. However you need a specialist vehicle to tow one. You will need more room on sites to get it onto the pitch (no movers) You might find one of the large US motorhomes for less money.

I saw one at a site a few weeks ago, it was huge and lovely, but I think some sites wouldn't be able to accommodate one, lovely though, I think someone on here does have one though.

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.

Someone once said to me about 5th wheelers...
What happens to the 5 wheeler when the tow truck breaks down? How does it get moved - none of the breakdown services can handle one.
We hired a 5th wheel in Canada. The tow truck was just a large pickup truck. They were great in Canada, apart from being very heavy and needing a tanker to refuel. However, I think they are too big for European roads.
