There are very good arguments for covering the van provided that you use a breathable, non scratch kind of cover such as a Pro Tec cover.

There are very good arguments for not covering the van.

It's down to a personal choice. We cover ours.

We put a damp Buster bucket in our van over winter with the crystals to collect the mositure and pop back every now and again to empty the water out.

There will be those who tell you that it is a waste of time using such crystals.

You pay your money and you take your choice. It's your baby so look after it as best you can

WE COVER OURS WITH A BREATHABLE COVER LOVELY TO HAVE A NICE CLEAN VAN AFTER THE WINTER.  WE ALSO NOW USE A TOWING FRONT COVER AFTER PICKING UP A FEW STONE CHIPS.

We don't use a cover, partly because we've never got around to buying one.  We also never really know when we'll we needing the van so don't really like the idea of covering and uncovering.  Strictly speaking, although we take the necessary precautions over the winter months, the longest period in between times using the van is about 9 weeks.  I don't know, but I reckon I would be one of those who would create problems/cause damage by putting on and taking off such a cover.  I would probably end up by breaking the TV aerial or something or scratching the van with the cover.  Then ther's the issue of 'letting the van breathe etc.

A question for those of you who use covers.  How often do you use the cover?  Do you cover the van all the time when not in use, or just over the winter, or other?
