I bought a Whale 'Hi-Flo' pump for mine as I was told that if you use the caravan shower it provides a higher and better flow rate. I found the 'Hi-Flo' much better actually than the standard pump even for the general taps as having an end washroom the water has to be pumped further from near the front (where the hot water tank is located) to the rear. Are you sure it's the pump and not a low battery? The symptoms of low pressure can also be that the leisure battery is not fully charged. Just a thought that's all before you part with money on a new pump if not needed.
I was always led to believe that gravity was the problem with pumping water. Not the amount of distance in the van. ie if the pump is in the aquaroll and it has to pump out of the shower nozzle this produces a head of about 5/6 feet. This is what the pump has to overcome. Unless an expert says otherwise

i think delivery is determined by the strength of the motor,ie the one above is £44.50 and you can get a pump from £10.most are around the same size in mass to go through the hole in the barrel opening.i fitted a new pump and wish now i had gone for the 921 because delivery although acceptable is not as good as the previous one fitted.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Yes gravity is part of the problem but water feed rate is very similar to electricity (in a way). When you feed an electrical current it is fed by the amount of amps therefore the longer the cable the weaker the feed gets so a cable has to be installed with a greater amperage or a some kind of booster installed to maintain the original power supply. Water fed by a pump is identical in the fact that the further it has to travel to the target the weaker the force is so a stronger pump has to be installed to maintain the pressure. For example, if you have a fountain in a fish pond down the garden about 100 yards away then a caravan water pump powered by 12 volt would be insufficient and useless so a powerful pump powered by 240 volt mains would have to be installed and the further away the pond is from the supply the greater the delivery is so a pump has to be installed to fit the application required. So, yes a standard caravan water pump will feed the shower head no problem but the high flow rate pump will just deliver a more powerful water supply that's all.
The 921 has now been superseded by the 1352 (slightly more powerful) I've just got one as a replacement for my spare from eBay £18.50 including postage - cheapest I found
Thanks for the reminder

thanks had no knowledge of what the 1352 could do,think i did see it on towsure site.i like to carry a spare they always seam to go Sunday morning miles from anywhere.its cheaper too.
