We have one and used it in May for a week at a very windy site in Scarborough and survived also just used it again this weekend. Its easy to put up but really not very sturdy.

Saw the non-XL version on a site this weekend - it looks OK to be honest. It looks quick to put up and take down, but I imagine it will be a bit drafty inside, and I wouldn't want to leave it up in terrible weather.
I think I'm going to buy one for weekend breaks as it looks really very simple to erect and I imagine it would dry out in no time at all. For the money it looks great value.
We have the non XL version (pic in my gallery). However, we were so busy checking the floor area, we didn't check the height and it's actually too high for our van - the van is a 1992 and the roof slopes at the front. It is a really easy awning to put up, but did take us ages to get it looking anywhere near decent due to this height problem!
I've got the non XL version too..... I caravan with my two kids, they bog off to the playpark as soon as we arrive on site, so I put it up by myself, which is a doddle even in a bit of a wind. True it's not the sturdiest, if the wind got too strong i'd whip it down sharpish, maybe I should trust it more......
But as a bit of extra space it's ideal. I keep three outdoor chairs in it, and hang waterproofs, put muddy shoes in it etc.....
We also have the non xl version, and like Gareth says, easy to put up, but flimsy in high wind. The only thing i don't like is pegging it in from the inside (you can sweat on a hot day )You get what you pay for i guess, bought ours for around £50..
Great for the weekend. Dead simple to put up but can never get a really good fit on the side of the van. Paid just under £60 new. Very light so if weight is an issue ideal.
Used our new one for the first time last weekend and it leaked where the label is stitched on above the middle of the front window. We took it back to the retailer who said that the seams have to be sealed before use!
Searching through the instructions later we did find a bit that says the main seams are hot air taped but all other seams need to be sealed. No sealant supplied with it, so whi would even think to do that.
Great little light weight porch awning...we call it our 'throw up' awning because thats literally all you need to do!...how ever it does leak in heavy rain, but for a weekender its ideal!
I agree great little awning ideal for me to erect on my own easily. Mine has never leaked. it is now on its 2nd full season was used for more than 5 weeks last year
